Each candle in our collection is a translation, woodblock prints and ink wash paintings rendered not in ink, but in scent. Hand-poured in small batches in Seattle, using 100% natural soy wax. Nothing is mass-produced. Everything is considered.

MEIYA was founded by three friends, Palestinian, Vietnamese, and Indonesian, at eighteen and nineteen years old. We had a vision for something that didn't exist yet: candles as art objects, where East Asian aesthetics and fragrance exist as one.
